An All-New Virtual Experience
2020 Marks a New Decade and a New Vision for Women

This is a decade of change. Let’s embrace it. We are excited to announce that the 32nd Annual Women of Excellence Awards will be a LIVE virtual experience on Wednesday, September 16th from 6 to 7 p.m.

Join us for an extraordinary gathering of people committed to building a better community, centered on eliminating racism and empowering women through inspiration and focused philanthropy.

While this event may look a little different as we transition from a daytime luncheon to an evening virtual event, our mission remains the same: honoring the contributions of women in our community who get up and do the work.

What can I expect from the event?

From the comfort of your home, join our circle of justice-minded individuals in recognizing and uplifiting the stories of women whose contributions have been vital to our community.

With the assistance of our media partners, WIBW-TV and TK Business Magazine, this exclusive online broadcast will feature powerful and uplifting testimonies from the women in our community who, despite everything else, get up and do the work every day, inspiring others, lifting others' voices, allowing others to shine, and above all, getting things done.

At the Women of Excellence Awards Event, there will be all kinds of social engagement: interactive programming with testimonials, a spotlight on the contributions of women in our community, and most importantly, the story of how YWCA Northeast Kansas has stayed true to its mission while pivoting to meet serious community needs during the COVID-19 experience.

We hope you will join us because your support and advocacy on September 16th is vital to YWCA Northeast Kansas' ongoing work.
